Melting Division

The Melting Division sports state-of-the-art medium frequency induction furnaces. The two Inductotherm-make furnaces are of 1 MT and 750 Kgs each.

• 550 KW VIP ‘G’ Track Medium Frequency Induction Furnace with two crucibles of 1000 Kgs.
• 250 KW VIP Power Track Medium Frequency Induction Furnace with two crucibles of 750 & 500 Kgs.

The molten metal handling section houses Ladles of various capacities with top and bottom pouring facilities. The capacity of the ladles range from 250 kgs to 2 MT.

SASCO also has two EOT Cranes of 5 and 10 MT capacity respectively, which incidentally are one of the main facilities for material handling.
