Moulding

Moulding operations are tuned towards preparing moulds for receiving molten metal. The procedure may be summarised in four steps:

Placing a moulding aggregate around a pattern, propped up with the aid of a supporting frame.
Removing the pattern from the mould cavity
Setting the cores in the mould cavity
Sealing the mould.
